Food Vouchers during the school holidays

For a number of years, schools in Sutton have issued free school meal vouchers to eligible parents, funded through a national Government grant. This grant ended in February 2026.

We recognise that families value these vouchers and have decided to fund them for an additional 4 weeks: one week over Easter, one week during May half term and the first 2 weeks of the summer holidays. This will allow families time to prepare for vouchers to be phased out after the summer holiday period.

Not all Local Authorities have decided to fund vouchers past February, so some resident families in Sutton attending schools outside the borough may not receive a voucher.

If you or your family needs support with the cost of living,  view the cost of living support that we can offer or contact Together for Sutton, who will be able to support you.
