Sutton Steams Ahead: Cultural Impact Awards 2023

This funding will be used to stage a series of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) themed events right across the borough in the award year.

A drone-filmed artistic event involving hundreds of Sutton residents will be filmed in the Summer of 2022 and a finale event, which will be an awe-inspiring light and laser show, is being planned for Winter 2023 .

Artist Doug Shaw captured a visual record of the inaugural meeting of the Culture and Science Advisory Board, a group of local educators, artists, and other key stakeholders, who will provide the cultural and science related knowledge and specialist advice that will help to deliver this exciting programme of events.
