It finally feels like Spring has sprung and just in time for the Easter Holidays too. I’m delighted to see so many exciting Easter activities happening across Sutton, from our heritage centres, to our parks, to our leisure centres and many other places too.

I’m looking forward to spending some time with my family and enjoying what’s on offer in Sutton. Places are filling fast for some activities so take a look at what’s happening and get signed up.

For some nature activities head over to Sutton Ecology Centre and take a look at Carshalton Family Hub’s Easter Programme for activities that all the family can enjoy.

Everyone Active have put together a programme of inclusive activities across Sutton’s Leisure Centres and there is lots happening in our libraries too such as Objects That Make You Happy taking place in Sutton Library on 9 April. You could also take advantage of our extended opening hours across all of our library sites, you can find out more about self-access extended opening hours.

Sutton’s Easter HAF programme will be running from 7 April - 18 April (excluding bank holidays). Children aged from reception to year 11 in receipt of benefits-related free school meals can enjoy exciting free activities and trips, all with nutritious meals provided throughout the programme.

If you don’t get along to any of these activities why not take a picnic and enjoy some time in one of Sutton’s 90 parks and green spaces? Our parks and green spaces are of a high standard, with 12 of them being awarded Green Flag Status in 2024.

From free Easter Egg Hunts to Easter Egg Fun, whatever you do over the next couple of weeks, I hope you all find time to enjoy the lovely weather and spend time with your family and friends.
