Food Vouchers during the school holidays

The Council has confirmed that food vouchers will continue to be provided to families who are eligible for Free School meals throughout 2025/26. 

If you have not registered for Free School meals - please visit our apply for free school meals page. 

Vouchers will be issued to eligible families for the following weeks in the year:

2025

Easter - 7 to 18 April (10 days) - £30
May Half Term - 26 to 30 May - (5 days) - £15
Summer holiday - 28 July to 8 August (10 days) - £30
27 to 31 October (5 days) - £15

2026

22 December to 2 January - (10 days) - £30
February Half Term - 16 to 20 February (5 days) - £15

If your child is eligible for Free School Meals and is of compulsory school age and attending a school (whether in Sutton or otherwise) you will receive the voucher directly through the school.

If your child lives in Sutton and is eligible for free school meals but is not of statutory school age or is not attending a school setting, you can still apply for a voucher by completing the Food Voucher Application Form. This will include the following:

If your child is resident in Sutton and is:

• home educated, 
• attends ‘Education Otherwise than at School’ or any other form of alternative provision 
• receives 2 year old funding (for those families on low income) or Early Years Pupil Premium for your 3 and 4 year old children
