Civic Act of Remembrance, Sunday 10 November 2024

The Mayor, Mayoress and Madam Deputy Mayor are attending the Civic Act of Remembrance on Sunday 10 November 2024 at the War Memorial in Worcester Park. The extended Remembrance service will be conducted by Revd Hannah Thomson, Vicar of Christ Church with St Philip and will commence at 10.45am. 

The following Remembrance services will also be taking place in Sutton on Sunday 10 November:

• Remembrance Service - Manor Park, SM1 4AF - 10/11/24
• Belmont War Memorial Remembrance Sunday Parade - Belmont War Memorial; Adjacent SM2 6DS - 10/11/24
• Act of Remembrance at Wallington Green Memorial - Wallington Green Memorial, SM6 0AA - 10/11/24

Civic Act of Remembrance, Monday 11 November 2024

An Act of Remembrance will be taking place on Armistice Day, Monday 11 November 2024 at 10.50am in Trinity Square, Sutton, during which the two minutes silence will be observed. The service will be led by Rev Alison Way on behalf of St Nicholas Church, in Sutton and Martin French will be conducting the choir from Sutton High School. The Mayor, Cllr Colin Stears, Mayoress, Sue Stears and Madam Deputy Mayor, Cllr Louise Phelan will be in attendance and would be delighted if you were able to attend.
