Contract standing orders

The Standing Orders apply to all contracts entered into by the Council for the procurement of goods, works and services. Contract Standing Orders form part of the London Tenders Portal.

We advertise all contract opportunities through the London Tenders Portal. Suppliers can access tenders from us and 17 other London Councils.

You can register your organisation for free on the London Tenders Portal.

Once registered, you'll get email alerts when opportunities arise in categories of interest.

The portal deals with all aspects of the tender.

Local Government Transparency Code 2014 Procurement

The Local Government Transparency Code helps increase accountability. This makes it easier for local people to contribute to the local decision making process.

Frameworks

We buy common services or supplies through national and regional consortia framework agreements. We make use of these framework agreements where we can. This is in the interests of efficiency and economy.

Approved list

The Council only maintains an approved list for the provision of construction and related services.

All contractors are vetted financially and technically before being included on the list. This is maintained on our behalf by Constructionline.
