London Councils

London Councils is an organisation which works on behalf of London boroughs. They have committed to working with London boroughs to respond to the climate emergency. This includes a series of joint projects which Sutton will take part in.

You can read more about this work on the London Councils website.

South London Partnership

The South London Partnership is a collaboration of 5 London boroughs:

  • Sutton
  • Croydon

We're working together on projects to tackle climate change including electric vehicle charging and district heat networks.

Internet of Things

The South London Partnership is also working on the Internet of Things project. This involves using sensors to help understand how people are living and travelling to help solve common problems.

We are reviewing our procurement policies to include sustainability requirements.
