Joint Statement for Sutton's businesses on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Sutton’s businesses are vital to the vibrancy and prosperity of our borough and an important part of making Sutton a great place to live, work and raise a family. We know you have all been working to maintain the health and safety of your staff and help keep our community safe. We thank you for your ongoing support for the public health response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
We know that the last few weeks will have brought you and your business challenges on a scale never before encountered. We want to reassure you that whatever your sector and whatever your size, Sutton Council, Sutton's Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and the Sutton Chamber of Commerce are working together, to help you find and access all possible Government support.
The Government has announced a range of schemes to provide financial support to businesses as they respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. We have published a summary of the financial support measures announced to date on our website. There is also a full list of all government support available.
Once again, we extend our thanks for your contribution to Sutton’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak and for helping to keep our community safe.
We will be feeding back the concerns and issues raised by our local businesses to Government as part of our regular updates to MHCLG. Please keep the lines of communication with us open as we navigate our way through these uncertain times.
Thank you
