Sutton Central by-election
A by-election will take place on Thursday 10 April 2025 to elect a new local councillor in Sutton Central.
You can apply for an exemption permit by completing the application form.
Apply for a School Street exemption permit
If you wish to remove an exemption, as you have changed vehicle or changed address, please email the details, including your name, address and vehicle registration to parking.permits@sutton.gov.uk. You will need to complete a new form for your new vehicle.
You will need to provide proof of residence with your application.
If you are on the register of electors for your address, we will not need any more proof.

Resident exemptions are limited to 3 per household. Resident carer exemptions are limited to 2 per household.
If you have a courtesy car or have to use another car, you’ll need to apply for an exemption permit for it.
The Council will undertake periodic checks against all details provided in your application to ensure they are correct during the lifetime of the exemption permit.
We may require you to provide additional information at any time during the period of permit validity to confirm this information.
