Service performance for waste collection and street cleaning
Waste collection and street cleaning services in the London Borough of Sutton are provided by Veolia UK on behalf of Sutton Council.
An eight-year contract with Veolia was awarded in 2017. It covers the four South London Waste Partnership boroughs of Sutton, Croydon, Kingston and Merton.
We monitor Veolia's performance against a set of 29 service performance indicators (SPIs).
In the interests of transparency and public accountability, information about Veolia's performance against key SPIs is published on a quarterly basis and reported to Sutton Council's Environment and Sustainable Transport.
Performance reports are published in financial year order according to the following timetable:
- Q1 (April to June) - published July
- Q2 (July to September) - published October
- Q3 (October to December) - published January
- Q4 (January to March) - published April
The Recycling and Waste Summary report will be published every six months in arrears to ensure a comprehensive review and verification of the data.
