A by-election will take place on Thursday 10 April 2025 to elect a new local councillor in Sutton Central.

Minimum energy efficiency standards apply to private rental properties. Landlords can't let or continue to let properties covered by the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards Regulations if they have an EPC rating below E, unless there is a valid exemption in place. The government is currently consulting on increasing the minimum requirement from EPC ‘E’ to ‘C’.
