NOTICE - London Wide Penalty Charge level changes

Following approval by the Mayor of London new Penalty Charge levels are to be introduced in London. 

Penalty Charge levels will increase as set out in the following notice. These levels will apply for any parking, bus lane and moving traffic offences from 7th April 2025.

You receive a discount of 50% if it’s paid within 14 days of being served.

Types of contravention

• 29J - Failing to comply with a one-way restriction
• 31J - Entering and stopping in a box junction when prohibited
• 32D - Failing to proceed in the direction shown by the arrow on a blue sign
• 33C - Using a route restricted to certain vehicles (buses and cycles only)
• 34J - Being in a bus lane
• 51J - Failing to comply with a no entry restriction
• 52M - Failing to comply with a prohibition on certain types of vehicle
• 53J - Failing to comply with a restriction on vehicles entering a pedestrian zone
• 53C - Failing to comply with a restriction on vehicles entering a pedestrian and cycle zone

The above list is not exhaustive and any valid moving traffic restriction may be enforced at any time.
