Annual Summer Fun Day 2024 at The Quad

On Wednesday 31 July our Children’s Social Care team in partnership with Sutton Virtual School hosted our annual Summer Fun Day at The Quad for Sutton’s care experienced children, young people and families. 

The day provided the opportunity for all young people open to Children’s Social Care to come together and enjoy a fun day out. From animal handling to football skills, soft play, face painting, cricket, pizza and ice-cream - there was something for everyone to enjoy. The sun was shining and everyone was smiling! 

It was a great occasion to celebrate the incredible achievements of our children and young people in care and care leavers. 

The event was hosted by Children’s Social Care with Sutton Virtual School who work alongside schools, social workers, foster carers, and wider partners to ensure that all of Sutton’s care experienced young people can achieve their educational potential.
