St Helier West By-Election - Thursday 2 May 2024

A By-Election will be held on Thursday 2nd May 2024 to elect a borough councillor in St Helier West ward. 

Note - this by-election will take place on the same day as the Mayor of London and Greater London Assembly (GLA) elections.  Information on deadlines to register, and how to vote by post or proxy can be viewed on the Mayor of London and Greater London Assembly elections webpage.

Photo ID is now required when voting at a polling station.  Anyone who does not show a valid form of photo ID will not be able to vote.

Standing as a candidate

The deadline to submit nomination papers was by 4pm, Friday 5th April 2024.

 

What time can I go to vote?

The hours of poll are from 7am-10pm on Thursday, 2nd May 2024

(this will be combined with the Mayor of London and Greater London Authority elections)

Where can I view the results?

The verification (Friday, 3rd May 2024) and count (TBC) will take place at ExCel London, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London, E16 1XL.  The result of the By-Election will be published here once the results have been declared.
