Sutton Park Events lists all the brilliant events run by Sutton Park Friends and others throughout the year. Take this opportunity to visit a new park and try something new! There are activities and events for all ages and more events will be added throughout the year.

Sutton STEAM Family Day at Sutton High Street (near Waterstones) Manor Park and Throwley Yard. Saturday 22nd June, starts at 11am. Join us for a day of science, technology, engineering, arts/culture and mathematics. FREE fun activities for all the family with exhibitors, experiences, career options and performances throughout the day.

Downlands Day at Sutton Common, SM7 3BA. Saturday 22nd June, 11am-2pm. Come and meet Sussex cattle, join a guided walk, learn how to scythe, buy native plants, plus fun children's activities.

Downlands Day at Oaks Park, SM7 3BA. Sunday 23rd June, 11am-2pm. Come and meet Sussex cattle, join a guided walk, learn how to scythe, buy native plants, plus fun children's activities.

Carshaltons Artists Open Studios at Oaks Park, SM7 3BA. Saturday 29 - Sunday 30 June. Artists studios are located behind the cafe.

Sutton Parks 'Landscape Artist competition' in Oaks Park, SM7 3BA. Saturday 6 July, meet by the cafe at 10.30am to collect an entry form. You have 3 hours to complete your artwork, 11am-2pm. Located on the edge of Sutton, this is a rural location, with lots of open space, chalk wildflowers and lots of trees! The competition is open to children and adults with great prizes for the winners.

Carshaltons Artists Open Studios at Oaks Park, SM7 3BA. Saturday 6 - Sunday 7 July. Artists studios are located behind the cafe.

Guided Tree Trail in Oaks Park, SM7 3BA. Sunday 7 July, 2pm-3pm. Hear facts and stories about twenty interesting trees, view the recently planted Jubilee Copse, see the outline of The Oaks Mansion, (the Earl of Derby’s home that used to stand in the park) and hear a little about that property. Meet at the café.

Sutton Parks 'Landscape Artist competition' in Poulter Park, SM5 1EE. Saturday 13 July, meet by the playground at 10.30am to collect an entry form. You have 3 hours to complete your artwork, 11am-2pm. This hidden peaceful gem borders the River Wandle with meadow areas, wildflowers and more. The competition is open to children and adults with great prizes for the winners.

Village Fete at Manor Park. Saturday 20 July, 10am-4pm. Lots of fun activities plus the Dog Show. More information to follow!

You have 3 hours to complete your artwork, 11am-2pm.  The park has a beautiful fountain and tree lined vistas, it is an oasis within central Sutton. The competition is open to children and adults with great prizes for the winners.

Sutton Parks 'Landscape Artist competition' in Beddington Park, SM6 7NN. Saturday 24 August, meet by the Pavilion cafe at 10.30am to collect an entry form. You have 3 hours to complete your artwork, 11am-2pm.  The park has woodland, meadows, formal garden areas, historical features including a Dovecote, a lake, the River Wandle and lots more! The competition is open to children and adults with great prizes for the winners.
